Another year

New Year's day is kind of a special day for me.
It is the anniversary of a major decision I made 19 years ago which changed my life dramatically.

It's a time when I like to spend some time along to reflect on my life, where I am, where I could have been. Sometimes I don't get to celebrate the occasion but this year I went for an evening ride on my bike through the wetlands between my home and the outer suburbs of Palmerston.
